Committee on Program Review
The MAA Committee on Program Review is engaged in preparing materials to support the self-study process for mathematical sciences departments, as well as resources for external consultants.
The MAA recommends that departments perform periodic reviews of their academic programs. While institutions and their accrediting bodies may mandate department reviews, the process - including self-study - enables members of a department to reflect on where the department has been, where it is now, and where it wants to be. To aid this important process, the MAA Committee on Program Review is engaged in preparing materials to support the self-study process for mathematical sciences departments, as well as resources for external consultants.
