Mathematical Treasure: Johannes Schöner's Opera Mathematica

Johannis Schoneri (aka Johannes Schöner, 1477–1547) was a German priest, astronomer and mathematician. He was also a respected maker of mathematical instruments known especially for his globes. His collected works in mathematics were published in 1561.
