Mathematical Treasure: Galileo's 'Dialogues' in English

Thomas Salusbury (ca. 1620 – ca. 1665) was an English mathematician and translator. He translated several works of physics and mathematics into English. He was an admirer of Galileo, wrote a book on his life and work, and in 1661 published Galileo’s The Systeme of the World in Four Dialogues in the English language ("Inglished from the Original Italian Copy").
