Talk Math with Your Kids

Writing in The Globe and Mail, Erin Anderssen compares herself to Christopher Danielson of talkingmathwithkids.com and encourages other parents to work mathematical conversation into their everyday interactions with their children.

Anderssen notes parents' tendency to "trash talk" and "diss" math and lets psychology professor Jo-Anne LeFevre point out the connection between this behavior and children's distaste for the subject:
