Mathematical Treasures - Tacquet's Cylinders and Annuli
Andre Tacquet (1612–1660) was a noted Jesuit geometer who published several influential mathematics books in his lifetime. His Cylindrica et annularia was published in 1651. It bore a rather simple title page:
