A goal for the workshop is for participants to build or improve their own faculty development programs appropriate for their department. In order to accomplish this goal we will share ideas on the following: innovative teaching techniques; strategies to promote respect among students and faculty; ways to build a more collegial environment with continuous peer feedback being the norm; and methods to improve an existing (or create a new) department faculty development program.

This workshop is funded by NSF 08-546 (TUES) in conjunction with the PREP initiative. Living expenses for the week at historic West Point will be reimbursed; travel expenses will be partially covered.
