Al-Maghribî’s Mecca Problem Meets Sudoku
Overview
In this article we will consider an old and rather obscure puzzle known as the Mecca Problem, discuss some of its interesting generalizations, and see how it relates to the modern day Sudoku puzzle and indeterminate systems.
