Topics in nonlinear functional analysis — solving nonlinear equations and inclusion relations, variational problems, non-smooth analysis — are studied together with applications, e.g., to game theory, mathematical economics, convex optimization. Authors assume only the most elementary functional analysis; they prove many classical results, especially of convex analysis. Informal, readable — directed at a variety of consumers of mathematics.
