Alder Award Nominations Due October 1st
The deadline for receiving nomination packets for the Henry L. Alder Award for Distinguished Teaching by a Beginning College or University Mathematics Faculty Member is October 1. Named after Henry Alder, former President of the MAA and lifetime active member of this organization, this prestigious award is intended to stimulate beginning faculty to accomplishment in teaching as well as in their scholarly endeavors.More information.

MAA Seeks Nominations and Applications for Two Associate Directors and an Additional Member of the Project NExT Leadership Team
The Project NExT leadership team comprises five positions:

Director and three Associate Directors plus one two-year nonrenewable member of the team.The current search is for two associate directors and the one two-year member of the team with terms to begin the week before MathFest 2012. The terms for the director and associate directors are four years, with a maximum of two terms, terms begin before MathFest and end August 31, four years later.
