IBL Conference 2016

The Inquiry-Based Learning Forum and 19th Annual R.L. Moore Conference, this year on “Expanding IBL throughout Higher Ed,” will take place Thursday, August 4, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM during MAA MathFest. All MathFest registrants are invited to attend, especially those who have not attended before and are wondering what IBL and “active learning” is all about. It is an opportunity to learn how to implement the teaching method shown to be most effective, share ideas, and be part of the community of IBL practitioners.

MAA President Francis Su will be the opening speaker. There will be a light food reception with  cash bar, sponsored by the Educational Advancement Foundation. For further information, please visit the registration portal.
