MAA Carriage House Programs

In 2007, with generous funding from Paul and Virginia Halmos, the MAA opened the newly renovated historic Carriage House to serve as a state-of-the art program facility for the mathematics community. Throughout the year the MAA hosts special programs related to all aspects of mathematics, which are made available to a wider audience through webcasts posted on the MAA website. The Distinguished Lecture Series brings renowned speakers to the MAA to present current mathematical ideas in an engaging and accessible way. The lecture series, along with workshops, conferences, book signings, movie presentations, local math events, and special talks provide a fun and enriching learning opportunity for professionals, students and anyone interested in learning about mathematics and its relationship to broader intellectual endeavors.
